GLA's Maine Office

GLA’s Maine office has become the operational center for a series of environmental revitalization and development projects throughout the Pine Tree State. The most intense project in the spring of 2009 is enhancement of the Kennebec River shoreline in Gardiner. Large-scale improvements to the riverfront park area will be constructed in a partnership of the Savings Bank of Maine and the City of Gardiner. Don Leighton, GLA’s president, and Arek Galle, a GLA Senior Landscape Architect, are leading this important project to strengthen the landscape quality and lift community pride in this regional hub city.
