GLA Project Featured in Downeast Magazine

October 2011

GLA’s award winning Maine coastal residence project was featured in a cover story in the October 2011 issue of Down East magazine. Titled “The Ultimate Maine Cottage,” the article includes many spectacular photos of the dramatic residential landscape set on an ocean bluff. GLA master planned the site, created the layout, and detailed all of the features, including the pool, spa, terraces, walls, piers, gates, railings, plantings, and “viewsheds.” Of particular note in the article is the emphasis on the “dancing together” aspect that craftspeople experience when creating such a unique home in a breathtaking and remote landscape. GLA is proud to have been an important partner in the dance! To see the article, follow this link: www.downeast.com
